A New Active Power Controller in Dual Active Bridge DC–DC Converter With a Minimum-Current-Point-Tracking Technique

This article proposes a new controller for power regulation in dual active bridge (DAB) dc-dc converter based on scheme that tracks minimum RMS current to ensure losses. The proposed is an implementation of perturb and observe (P&O) tracking method enables point (MCPT) at any desired level transfer dc voltage ratio. P&O embedded closed-loop control which simultaneously regulates DAB converter. nonlinear I- V characteristic presents the basis this rationale using algorithm. does not require complex modeling circuit parameter dependent. Design procedure presented, extensive simulation carried out MATLAB/Simulink validate effectiveness MCPT controller. An experimental prototype also substantiates results achieved.
